Today, 14th of June at Taste of Dublin 2019, The Port House announces its new Wine Tours to Spain, operated by Capture Travel.
The unique Wine Tours to Spain will be offered to Port House customers, beginning towards the end of this year with a full launch in 2020. The tours present a unique opportunity for customers to experience first-hand the Spanish suppliers of food and wine that make up the eclectic menu of The Port House tapas restaurants.
The Port House chain operates four restaurants, three of which are located in Dublin, on South William Street, Temple Bar and Dundrum, with another on The Strand in London’s Convent Gardens. Four tours have been announced, departing to the Spanish regions of La Mancha, Rioja, Catalonia and Galicia. Four-day tours will depart from Dublin airport to explore everything from the vineyards of Torres in Villa Franca to the humble beginnings of Cava, the manchego cheese at Quesos Rocinante Malagón to the Estrella Galicia Brewery, the white wines of Albarino to the Rioja at Bodega Hacienda López de Haro. The tours will feature Michelin-star meals, 4-star hotels and cultural landmarks of the windmills at Consuegra, Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, La Sagrada Familia and more along the way.
The Port House Wine Tours will be operated by Capture Travel, the new travel agency for groups, as part of their new bespoke Branded Tours that give Irish businesses the opportunity to bring their customers around Ireland and abroad to engage with their products and services.

A four-day wine journey taking you to the heart of the Rioja province. Beginning in San Sebastian, experience the pinnacle of Rioja wine at Bodega Hacienda López de Haro before heading to the capital of Logroño. Tour the vineyards of Bodega Inurrieta, and taste the tapas delicacies of Pamplona!
The Catalonia province offers a wealth of experiences on this four-day tour that includes visits to the Torres vineyards in Villa Franca and the home of Cava in Segura Viudas and Freixenet. And of course, an exploration of the historical and gourmet hot spots of the Catalonian capital, Barcelona.
This four-day tour of Galicia will bring you to the heart of Camino de Santiago where you will taste the lager of the Estrella Galicia Brewery and the famous white wines of Albarino vineyards. Staying in historical 4 star hotels- it will be a journey to uncover the origins of Spanish food and wine.
